Each workshop has been designed to meet the needs of a specific group. The lesbian workshop will focus on situations that are specific to attacks against women. The workshop for gay men will look mainly at defending yourself during gang attacks. The mixed/queer workshops are targeted to lesbians, gay men and tranys who are comfortable or prefer working in mixed gender groups, or those of you that miss the earlier dates. The youth group is for people 25 or under. The "bushies" workshop is planned for rural visitors to Sydney during the Mardi Gras festival. There will also be violence prevention information sessions held separately. These will be a short demonstration of the skills you will gain in the workshops, as well as an introduction to the Anti-Violence Project.
