Subject: How To Get Political Asylum?

Hi all,

I write to you in the name of Pink Cross, the Swiss Gay Federation. I work
with it as board member and as an ILGA Delegate.

Reto Rufer from the organization called 'Zuercher Freiaktion fuer
Asylsuchende' which helps people are asking for political asylum in
Switzerland has got in contact with Pink Cross. He ask for assistance in a
case of an Iranian man who try to get asylum in Switzerland. The Iranian
man has beeen persecute on different levels because he is gay.

Unfortunately I do not know about any such cases in Switzerland. Perhaps
you have heard about one.

I know that the procedure and the rules to get political asylum is
different from country to country. But I also think parallels can be drawn,
specifically in setting up a list of arguments in favour of seeking asylum.

If you have some experiences in this matter (get politic asylum on the base
