Telia says that the lines have been used in a way, which does not reflect the attitudes of the company. Last Thursday a 21-year-old man appeared in court in Malmoe accused of having stabbed a 25-year-old gay man to death in December 1994. According to the police investigation the two men had established contact via Heta Linjen. On other occasions it has been observed that other kind of sexual services have been offered on the chat lines. - We do not want to appear in such context, says a Telia spokesman. Other sources have suggested that Telia is considering stopping its chat lines in all Swedish cities. Bjorn
