Date: Sat, 30 Dec 1995 12:24:28 -0500 (EST) From: Sean Crist Subject: About CompuServe: How to contact the German Embassy If you would like to reach the German Embassy in Washington to express your views on the German government's recent action to censor gay newsgroups on CompuServe, their contact information is as follows: Address: 4645 Reservoir Road NW Washington, DC 20007-1998 Phone: 202-298-4000 FAX: 202-298-4249 The embassy is open 9-12 on working days, but they answer the phone 9-5 M-Th and 9-3:30 Friday. I'm not aware of any email address, but I wasn't able to talk to a human when I called (perhaps there's something on the Web, but I don't have Web access at the moment). If anyone finds out what agency of the German government is responsible for this action, please let us all know. Feel free to pass this information on. \/ __ __ _\_ --Sean Crist (kurisuto@unagi.cis.upenn.edu) --- | | \ / For a free copy of the Bill of Rights, finger _| ,| ,| ----- this account.
