Did you know that a national special interest group for gay/lesbian/bisexual
Physical Therapists is now in the process of gathering new members in the
United States.  It is a fairly new group.  If you are interested in receiving
the newsletter  "ALTERNATIVE MODALITIES" , please write to "Julia16@AOL.COM".


I recently moved to Canada and I am interested in expanding this group to
Canada.  I will then be the contact person for any physical therapist
intereted in joining our group.  We will meet at the joint APTA-CPA congress
in Toronto in June '94.

Please contact me if you are a GLB PT and interested in receiving
news/support from this group, your group!
We want to insure that PTs will not be discriminated against because of their
sexual orientation.  We also want to offer support to PTs as a group since
many feel somewhat isolated in this profession.

Please write as soon as possible so we can start organizing our Canadian
network.
