PIKE SEATTLE, WA 98122 206-325-6829 ladysun@eskimo.com FETISH DINNER This weekends menu: APPETIZER Cafe Pizza (andouli sausage, green onions and roasted red peppers in a peppercorn cream sauce) LIGHT MEALS Asparagus Risotto with Oyster Mushrooms and Ginger served with soup or salad BTE Chopped Salad (mixed greens tossed with smoked turkey, bacon, fresh mozzarella, ham, onion and tomatoes in a sesame ginger dressing) ENTREES 10 ounce NY Strip Steak, broccoli and baked potato Spirelli Con Pollo y Pesto (chicken, pesto, pasta and pine nuts) Pan Fried Market Fresh Catfish, with red beans and rice Venison Medallions served with Market Fresh Vegetables Starting May 23 we will have a bootblack available from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Due to the success of Fetish Dinner we are asking that if at all possible please make reservations. However, we will always welcome walk-ins. Remember, seating for the main dining room is between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. If you wish to be seated in the Dungeon, you should arrive before 7:30. Reservations are required for Dungeon seating. The Dungeon is an ideal place for small private parties. We can seat up to twelve (or more if you want to use the floor) and the minimum seating for privacy is six. Formal or Fetish wear is encouraged. NEW FRIDAY PLAY PARTIES Starting June 5 BTE will be hosting Friday Fetish Night parties after Edge Forum. The Friday parties will be the first and third Fridays of the month. At this time the Dungeon Annex will not be in use. The cost will be $5.00 and the parties will run from 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM. Like our Saturday Night parties the cafe will close to the general public at 11:00 PM. LOGO CONTEST We have some great entries to our logo contest, but would love to have more. Time is running out. If you are working on something, give us a call so we know to expect it. What we're after is something that is easy to copy, looks sexy, and has both a classy and a kinky feel. This logo will be used in our ads in both vanilla and kinky publications, on our business cards, and on other printed materials. One logo will be chosen as a winner but we might wind up using many of the ideas contributed. The contest will run until June 1, 1998. All entries become the property of Beyond the Edge Cafe and may be used as the cafe sees fit. Submissions must be in black and white and on 8-1/2x11 paper. Please include a separate sheet with your name, address and telephone number. The winning logo will be announced June 15, 1998. Prizes will include a dozen chocolate chip cookies, a six-month pass to the Saturday Fetish Night parties at Beyond the Edge Cafe, and a dinner for two at Z-Ritz Restaurant, a wonderful gourmet restaurant just across the street from Beyond the Edge. UPCOMING PARTIES Our May Pansexual Private Party will be held on Sunday May 24, the day before Memorial Day. Note that this is not the last Sunday in May. The cost is $15.00 and includes dinner. The party is from 6:00 PM until Midnight or so. We hope to have use of the new Dungeon Annex for this party, so there will be plenty of room for everyone. RSVP to Allena via the cafe or e-mail. If you have never attended a private party, you must talk personally to Allena. Our June Women-Only Private Party will have a Uniform theme. All women in uniform will receive a $3.00 discount at the door. The party is on Sunday, June 28 from 6:00 PM until Midnight or so. The cost is $15.00 and includes dinner.
