Letter to the editor,


   February 5th, 1998 I decided to run for Washington State Ms Leather.
Having been very sick and incredibly blessed by so many people's care and
support, the contest seemed the perfect opportunity to thank people for the
tremendous gift they had given me.
   May 2nd, 1998 I was astounded when I actually won the Washington State Ms
Leather title.  I am compelled to thank all those generous people I've leaned
on throughout the contest preparations.
   First and foremost i must thank my Master, Erik, who has guided me as a
Daddy, loved me as a  Partner,  taught me as a Mentor and hurt me as the
fabulous sadist He is.  i am forever changed by His presence in my life, may i
always make Him proud.
   The people I thank next had a terrific impact on my performance as a
contestant.  P. my diligent and loving slave, Spencer my savvy historian, and
JB my toppish coach.  Thank you.
   Great big THANK YOU's go to the fantastic prison players of my fantasy
(Janet, JB, Ralph, Patricia, Artemis and Sean) --thank you for stepping
through your reasons and publicly behaving tremendously silly.
   My heartfelt thanks go to my sponsors:  Elena and Beyond the Edge Cafe for
the generous use of the piano, the practice space, your employees and the
unwavering moral support you've always supplied me with.  Tonya and Erika of
Winter/Couture, thank you for making me look better than I would have ever
dreamed possible!
   Without the following organizations and staff, the contest simply would not
exist.  My thanks to:  Generic Leather Productions for creating this title and
giving me the tremendous opportunity I'm now privy to.  The judges who's time
and expertise were invaluable.  The production staff, producers of the show,
stage, sound and lighting crew who made the show look so good and run so
smoothly.  The documentation of the event and the application photos Charlie
Daniels supplied me with --  will, without a doubt, create lasting
impressions.  The sponsors and the hosting businesses  - your generosity and
hospitality were greatly appreciated. 
   Lastly I'd like to thank all those loud cheering masses who attended the
contest and exemplified the feeling of family I spoke of during the contest,
I shone in reflection of your brilliance.
