A letter to the editor
        I want to take a moment at this time and thank all of the 
people who made my bid for Washington State Ms Leather possible. A 
big thank-you to my sponsors: Beyond the Edge Cafe, Pirate Software, 
LLC, and Tandy Leather.
        A big thank-you also to the contest chairs, Dragon Xcalibur 
and Spencer Bergstedt. You guys put on a fabulous and well-planned 
show. The stage crew, especially Billy Lane and Shane Jepsen, deserve 
kudos for their work on the set. Thank-you all.
        To the judges, thank-you for believing in my words and my 
ideas. I will do my utmost to be worthy of that belief. To GLPW, 
thank-you for even existing, for your support of the Leather 
Community and these contests, and for your friendship. May it 
continue on forever.
        Lastly, I want to specifically name a few people who have had
a most direct affect on my bid, and my life. Hobbit Smith, Washington
State Ms. Leather 1996. Greta Schwerdtfeger, outgoing GLPW President.
