SLGC Board President, Shirley Williams, announces: "We are delighted to welcome you to our first concert under the artistic direction of John M. Kelleher, and we look forward to a long and creative association with John. As a kick off to our eighth season... You will hear some old jazz favorites, but also some surprises, all with the special signature of SLGC's mixed chorus." The concert is a celebration of the fact that we folks in the Gay community experience all the same mystifying textures, ups and downs, soaring hearts and pounding headaches that come part and parcel with any romantic relationship. We like to think that it's our sense of humor that sees us through. This January's concert is dedicated to the fond memory of Ray Cornett, beloved partner of former Board President Gene Breshears. Ray was a long-standing volunteer and friend of the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Chorus. May we all remember to hold tight to those we love and cherish each moment with them. Tickets for "Romance and All That Jazz" are available at Bailey-Coy Books on Broadway, or by calling (206)860-SLGC. Prices are $15.00 general admission, and $10.00 for youth, students and seniors. Please join us in celebrating with heart and soul, love that comes in 32 flavors and then some. Meet me at The Lava Lounge www.wolfenet.com/~aubrey/lava.htm
