The Religious Responses to the Radical Right

On October the 12th, a Wednesday evening, starting at 6:30pm
until 9:30pm, the four Unitarian Universalist Churches and
Fellowships of the Tidewater region of Virginia will sponsor a
presentation at the Unitarian Church of Norfolk. The
presentations will be given by Deanna R. Duby, the Director of
Education Policy of People for the American Way and by the Rev.
Meg Riley, the Director of the Office of Lesbian Bisexual and Gay
Concerns for the Unitarian Universalist Association.

The presentation will be at the Norfolk Church located at 739
Yarmouth Street, just west of the Chrysler Museum on the Hague in
the Ghent section of Norfolk. Each of the principals will make
presentations, a short video will be shown and there will be a
talkback where the audience will get a chance to participate.

Come, bring a friend or two. This may be the most important
meeting you will attend before the November election.
