She is using a non-discrimination pledge made to gay and lesbian democrats as a club to beat her opponent, Rich McKeown, in the media. Bay and lesbian democrats had endorse McKeown and DeeDee's strategy has been to pander to anti-gay bigots in Salt Lake City. In THE SALT LAKE TRIBUNE she stated that she feels that city policies do not need change. The head of the city council, Stuart Reid, who endorsed DeeDee Corradini earlier this month stated that gays and lesbians "want special rights and want to legitimize their relationships." This he opposes. If you live in Salt Lake City, vote for Rich McKeown, and encourage your friends to do the same. If you don't live in Salt Lake City, but have friends who do, encourage them to vote against bigotry and for Rich McKeown for mayor. If you want to register your displeasure with the Mayor's bigotry and using gays as a campaign trick, call her at (801) 535-7704. You can also call the reporter from the SALT LAKE TRIBUNE who seems to be adding fuel to the fire and express your displeasure with his story. His name is Jay Baltezore at (801) 237-2045. Frank
