Subject: UT Law Declared Valid March 3

We just got word from Chris Ryan of the Log Cabin Club of Utah that the
Attorney General's office ruled yesterday that the law banning recognition of
same-sex marriages has been declared valid despite the lateness of the hour
when it was voted on.  Chris got the information from an article in the
Mormon-church owned daily the Deseret News, this morning March 4, 1995.
