GLUD directors to speak 
at Weber State University

SALT LAKE CITY - Gay and Lesbian Utah Democrats Founder David Nelson and Vice
Chair Charlene Orchard accepted invitations from Weber State University to
debate Utah Eagle Forum leader Gayle Ruzicka about protecting the equal
rights of bisexual, gay and lesbian people.

The 
debate is being sponsored by the university's Honors Program and is open to
the public from 
10:30 to 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3 in the university's student-union
building Wildcat Theatre at 3750 South Harrison Boulevard in Ogden, Utah.

"This debate will, once and for all, show the pu blic what homophobic groups like the Utah Eagle Forum are all about," Nelson
said. "Denying equal-rights protection to bisexual, gay and lesbian people is
wrong and, in places like Colorado, can cost hundreds of millions of dollars."
