I posted the following a few days ago on soc.motss but I don't seem to
have gotten any response - I realize it's pretty bland and all, but
I don't know how to get people's attention (I guess) without sounding
silly.  Suggestions?

We got the following announcement yesterday and I am wondering
what others on motss think might be an appropriate action:
 
In Austin, Texas at the Grace Covenant Church, 9500 Research
Blvd, on November 5th and 6th, the AFA of Texas is holding a
"Family Values Defense Conference."  The leader of this event is
Tim Wildmon, VP of AFA.  Included will be three politicians,
who's names, phone and fax numbers I have enclosed (I'm curious
what they're getting paid for this).  For those interested in
doing something on those dates, please let me know by phone, fax
or email.
