Subject: *QL*: Stonewall-Cincinnati seeks Exec. Dir.

Stonewall-Cincinnati, the human rights organization advocating equal rights
for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people, seeks applicants for
the position of Executive Director.

Executive Director

Stonewall Cincinnati, 14 year old 501.c(3) and PAC, seeks professional as
Executive Director.  Candidate must be able to implement all policies,
procedures and goals established by the Board of Directors.  Other
responsibilities: 1)  fiscal management, 2)  oversight of programs,
projects and committees, 3)  maintenance of relationships with Federal,
State and local governments, the media, and the lesbian and gay community
and the larger non-gay community as appropriate, 4)  administration of
donor base, 5)  management, supervision and development of staff, and 6)
volunteer coordination.

Qualifications:

1.  At least 2 years experience in a non-profit organization with ability
to manage and develop a staff (including volunteer staff), develop and
implement a budget, and supervise a variety of development activities.
Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to effectively supervise
the development and implementation of a variety of programs and work with a
volunteer Board of Directors.

2. Proven ability to develop a budget and administer an organization within
the approved budget.

3.  Proven ability to organize development programs.

4.  Working knowledge and leadership in legislative public policy and
political issues affecting the lesbian and gay communities.

5.  Outstanding communication skills.

6.  Ability to represent Stonewall Cincinnati to other organizations.

7.  Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferable, or equivalent work
experience.
