According to Barry Wegener, a General Mills spokesperson, General Mills
issued the following statement on July 7, 1994, in regards to the
anti-gay T-shirts sold in New Jersey:

"General Mills takes exception to the use of its trademarks by any
unauthorized individual or group.  General Mills has sent a letter of
objection to the people who are marketing the product asking that they
discontinue the wrongful use of our trademarks."
