The New Hampshire Senate is considering legislation which would prohibit 
same sex marriage in the Granite State.  Senate Bill 557 has been 
introduced as a safe gauard should Hawaii decide to allow same sex 
marriages.  This bill will be considered by the Senate Judiciary 
Committee  on January 24, 3 days before a bill which would add sexual 
orientation to the states Civil Rights Bill is to be considered by the 
House Judiciary Committee.
