When I forwarded the ACTION ALERT I was not yet aware that Western Union 
charges $6.50 for your call.  Sorry the writer didn't include that.  I'm 
able to pay that, but some aren't.  I have spent the last hour on long 
distance to Washington, trying to find a way to get email to The Attorney 
General so I could share that with you this afternoon.  After all the 
run-around, I find that Ms. R. Mazar, in the AG's office told me whe was 
certain that there was no general email account for citizens.  I told her 
I thought there needed to be, and she told me that they "don't want one" 
because there is no staff to handle such a line.  I told her I would 
relay that information, and I would be contacting the President's office 
to point out that his "information highway" seems to be missing some 
important parts.  I added that it seemed to me unfortunate that Justice 
*wants to be cut off from the citizens, and that situation needed to be 
changed asap.

I don't know about this last number.  Haven't tried it since I already 
have a large investment in ld charges from trying to get an email address

I am also copying the President on this, and you should see his address 
above.  I think we might consider letting him know what we think of the 
current state of his "information highway."

That explains, I guess, why the release stress the Western Union route 
for quick access, among othe reasons.
