Last night I received a phone call from Gerry Studds' re-election committee.
It made me think about how the two openly gay members of Congress, Gerry
Studds and Barney Frank, do a much better job of representing my interests,
especially on gay, lesbian and bisexual issues, than my local Congressman
does.  While I can't do any volunteer work for their re-election, I can make
a financial contribution to their campaigns.  If you want more information
