We are pleased to announced that a transcontinental, transhemispheric project is coming to fruition as you read this: the posting of all the briefs in the Baehr v. Miike case now on appeal in the Hawai`i Supreme Court. Of the 19 known amicus briefs, 14 have been posted at either http://www.cs.unt.edu/home/hughes/index.html or http://hawaiilawyer.com, or both, with two others being broadcast for posting within the hour. The remaining known three briefs will be posted as soon as posssible after receipt. (They are: National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality, Inc.; Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders; and Andrew Chernin.) Theses two sites, maintained by Rod in conjunction with his partner Chrisopher, and Ben should contain the entire extentsive batch soon. Additionally, the Opening and Answering Briefs have been posted at Rod & Christopher's site, and should be available at Ben's site soon. The final brief of the defendant/plaintiffs, the Reply brief, is due on Monday, June 16th, and will be hung as soon as possible thereafter.
