Are you queer?

Did you go to grade school or high school in Kansas? 

Are you willing to share your story?


Then P-Flag Wichita needs you.

On October 27th, Wichita P-Flag will be holding public hearings to document abuses and problems faced by LesBiGayTrans students in Kansas. Kansans who attended school here are needed to tell their stories, either in person, or by letter, are needed for these hearings. 

If in a Kansas school, you:


-faced homophobia from your teachers, peers or schools -felt isolated, misunderstood or lacking in support -faced overt heterosexism in curriculum
-experienced suicidal thoughts due to your sexual orientation 

PLEASE consider sharing your story, so that others won'tr have to go through what you went through. You are invited to attend the hearing and testify in person, or write a letter if you cannot attend.
