The Adventures of PRISCILLA - Queen of the Desert, an Australian movie with a
drag queen, a transgender and a transsexual as leading characters will be
presented Thursday, October 27, at the Westridge 6 Theatres.

This benefit screening is a fund raiser for the Topeka AIDS Project (TAP) and
the Alliance for Progress, the Dallas-based group which is developing and
producing gay-positive commercials. (AFP commercials debuted in Topeka on 
Channel 27 last month.)  

There are about three hundred seats available.  Tickets are $10 each and are

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert -- Winner, Audience Award,
