     Candidate for President

Dear Friends:

Our local paper says "Washburn University President Hugh Thompson is one
of a group of candidates being considered for the ASU president's
job," and a nice lady in your office said comments about Mr. Thompson
from Washburn students, alumni, patrons and taxpayers would be welcome.
As a 40-year resident, taxpayer and pastor in Topeka, and a graduate
of Washburn's undergraduate and law schools, and father of 13 children
all but one of whom also graduated from WU (11 from the law school), I
have information for you about my friend, Hugh Thompson.

Mr. Thompson has done more to turn Washburn University and her law
school over to the criminal homosexuals (sodomy is a crim in our state
as in yours) than all 12 prior WU presidents combined.  For example,
Thompson allows a self-professed lesbian activist (Prof. Charlene
Smith) to dominate the law school, seducing female students and the
wives of male students to her lusts on pain of bad grades.  We can give
you many more examples.  Our church regularly pickets WU in protest of
Thompson's sinful, immoral and criminal administration, and the
devastating effect thereof on our Kansas youth.  If Mr. Thompson takes
his sodomite recruiting program to ASU as he has to WU, you may expect us
to add your campus to our regular out-of-state religious protest
