The Following is the text of a handwritten message I received from Kansas
Representative David Adkins of Leawood, Kansas, in response to one of the
"pink cards" I mailed him:

Dear Kevyn-

     Thanks for your postcard regarding the resolution proposed for the
Kansas Legislature.
 I will not vote for the resolutonand believe it to be very ill advised.
Kansas need not become a hate state. The resolution is offensive to all
Kansans civil rights.
