The May 13 Honolulu MidWeek newspaper (a free weekly distributed by postal mail) carried a full page ad from OHA (Office of Hawaiian Affairs) saying "Vote NO on CONCON". Here's the full text: "In the last 20 years, Hawaiian culture and language education have been re-established. "Community grants and small-business loans wer made available. "New social and economic programs were created. "All this progress is at risk. "The proposed constitutional convention could threaten two decades of growth and hard work. Hawai`i doesn't need another constitutional convention. Hawai`i's TAXPAYERS CAN'T AFFORD IT. Let's finish what we started. Vote NO on CONCON. Lower left corner: "CON CON" in black bold, with "Vote NO" stamped cross-wise to it. Lower right corner: OHA' logo, with "A message from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. `Working for a better Hawaii`i" underneath the logo. Tom Ramsey
