Action Alert!

>From Marriage Project - Hawaii:

 Names, names, names, ....
        of people who support same-gender
marriage as a civil right. Plus
some way to reach them (phone, email,
        fax, mailing address, whatever).
        Send to: marriageprojecthi@msn.com
(or fax to 9474649, or mail to
PO Box 11690, Honolulu, HI 96828)

Send a copy of your list to Protect
        Our Constitution: poc@luau.net
(or mail to 870 Kapahulu Ave in Honolulu
---call 739-6263 for zip code or fax). By
rules of the Internal Revenue Service having
to do with being tax deductible, Marriage
Project Hawaii can share a list with Protect
Our Constitution only by selling it at fair
market value AND THEN MUST PAY TAXES ON THE
SALE. MPH will share a name with another organization
with that person's permission. So make it easy:
send your own copy to Protect Our Constitution. It
may be weeks before Marriage Project Hawaii verifies
permission to share the names. As usual, Dr. Dave
guessed at all this months ago, and has been sending
names to both organizations ever since.

WE HAVE SIX SHORT WEEKS TO CHECK THESE FOLKS'
        VOTER REGISTRATION.

>From Protect Our Constitution:

Volunteers are needed in all roles, immediately.
About 50 phone volunteers have become neighborhood
leaders, so there is an IMMEDIATE need (like, now)
for volunteers to telephone daytimes and evenings.
Contact Protect Our Constitution at 870 Kapahulu
Avenue, or call 739-6263, or email poc@luau.net.

NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! WE WILL WIN
THIS, AND THE MOMENTUM FAVORS US IF WE JUST ACT
NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW.

Neighbor island folks are especially needed to
give house parties and be neighborhood leaders.
Please, please email poc@luau.net to volunteer.
The house party kit is outstanding---clearly laid
out and easy to follow. And the house party can
be a beach party, whatever. The house party kit
was so admired by the staff at the UH Foundation,
that they asked for it to imitate.

See you at the phone banks!

    Tom Ramsey
