Date: Wed, 21 May 1997 11:03:43 -1000 From: lambda@aloha.net (Martin Rice) Subject: Offer to Native Hawai`ian/Pacific Islanders Aloha awakea kakou. The following is from kaikua`ana Lupe . . . . Malo e lelei, my name is Lupe Niumeitolu and I am the editor of a Pacific Islander publication from The Uni of Utah. I am soliciting Pacific Islander writers that can write on gay/lesbian issues for our publication. We are not just a Utah publication. This publication is sent out within the US and also internationally. We are the only 'academic', Pacific Islander publication advocating a 'progressive' politics that exist both nationally and internationally. This is a forum that has been constructed to give Pacific Islander stories a voice and to contest the negative depictions of our people by the predominant culture.> > If you are interested please contact me and if you want a free subscription to our publication "MOana" please also contact me and I will be more than happy to accomodate. Malo au pito and may the Gods go with us in our dreams and struggles for freedom- Lupe Niumeitolu (wrk) 801 581-8151 > > > Aloha awakea `oe kaikua`ana Lupe. > > My regrets, but I can't give out names for reasons of confidentiality.
