The Ninth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has just ruled to stay Judge David Ezra's decision regarding the proposed Hawai`i Constitutional Convention vote that was to be revoted upon sometime before December 6, 1997. The earliest the Constitutional Convention vote can be held is now November of 1998. The Ninth Court either implied or stated that holding the vote could be prejudicialy to the Baehr v. Miike case now before the Hawai`i Supreme Court. I will post more, as it becomes available. A hui hou, Martin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recent political cartoon in the N.Y.
