before election day November 3.  Please forward this to your list.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by POC headquarters to do some work or
those of you who are working in your own neighborhoods.  I want to make
sure everyone knows the most recent poll results, which are

37% voting yes
49% voting no
14% undecided

That means we CAN win this thing.  But those encouraging numbers will
slip way if we don't increase our efforts and do more work.  We lost some
of our best phoners to the neighbor to neighbor program.  That's great,
but now we are falling short of our dial up goals (2,000 calls per
night).

Please give just one night of phones, whether or not you have tried it in
the past.  Come in and do something else if you can't do phones.
