The good note is that without it, over the last year and a half (according to a recent NBC News/Star-Bulletin poll) our side has cut our opposition's margin of victory by almost 1/2. Their supportive ratings have dropped from 74% in March of '96 to 63% as of last month. Now is the time to reach into you pockets and purses and help us achieve our goal of holding our opposition to less than 50%. We've changed 40,000 minds in that time, and we can change more.
