Therefore, testifiers should combine their comments on the bills in a single written testimony. Testimony should include the testifier's name, organizational affiliation, and their general position on the issue. All testifiers are requested to state this information at the beginning of their oral presenta- tion. Each testifier will be given 2 minutes to present their testimony. Persons who submit testimony by Friday, January 31 at 5:00 pm will automatically be placed on the list of testifiers. The list of testifiers will be posted outside the auditorium prior to the hearing. LATE TESTIMONY: Due to time constraints, testifiers who submit testimony after Friday, January 31 at 5:00 pm may be requested to stand on their written testimony. All written testimony will be distributed to the committee members and will be a part of the official record of the public hearing. Persons wishing to testify should submit 35 COPIES of their testimony with two holes punched at the top to the committee clerk, Room 227, State Capitol by Friday, January 31 at 5:00 pm. Neighbor island testifiers may fax testimony if less than 5 pages in length to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 1-800-586-6659.
