Subject: For Non-Hawaii Residents: Update: How to Help Hawaii's Gay Community

Aloha,  

Updated What can and needs to be done by mainlanders (out of state people) to
support Hawaii's Gay community NOW.  We have gotten so many requests that we
have put together this important list of things to do.  Please do all that
you can.  And copy this Call for Action and send to everyone you can.

Please CC all communication to Hawaii Gay Marriage Project (address listed
below or to our email address for our archives).

As far as Hawaii is concerned.  Out of state letters (not emails or phone
calls) are great to legislators, Hawaii Visitors and Convention Center,
Hawaii Chamber of Commerce.

Letters to editors of both daily papers and others listed are good too.  They
accept email and Faxes and print quite a few from mainlanders particularly
ones who have traveled here before.

And of course, don't forget to help financially with organizations like this
one that has been here from the very beginning of the campaign for legal Gay
marriage.  Remember, we started the lawsuit!
