Lauderdale, Florida. On Tuesday evening, October 6th, the energetic and non-partisan LesBiGay Political Advocacy PAC will hold its final '98 series of "Meet Your Candidates Nights" in the Central Auditorium of the Broward County Main Library building located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale on Andrews Avenue South of Broward Blvd. Co-chairs of the event, Denise Yoezel and Karl Clark, have noted that all candidates in the upcoming November County-wide elections have been invited to appear before the members and friends of the community they intend to represent. This non-partisan gathering, which was so successful in the Septembet '98 Primary Elections, is being hosted by PAC-PAC, in conjunction with The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Greater Fort Lauderdale (GLCC), The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Gays United to Attack Repression and Discrimination (GUARD), and the Broward Log Cabin Club of Florida (LCR). The evening will open with a welcoming reception (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM) in the lobby of the Main Auditorium. During this hour the community will have a an opportunity to meet the candidates personally and socially in an informal and congenial atmosphere. From 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM the formal presenta- tions will take place in the Main Auditorium at which time each candidate will have an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves, nutshell their platform, and field questions from guest panelists.
