Any responses to the list or list-owners will be returned to you. ] Yesterday, voters in West Palm Beach, FL, (WPB) voted 56 percent to 44 percent against repealing a gay rights ordiance. Today's Palm Beach Post said, "In a strong rebuke of the religious right's emotional appeals, voters soundly defeated a measure to remove gay-rights protections from city law." The ordiance protects gays from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations. WPB Mayor Nancy Graham, who worked with gay-rights groups, Jewish leaders, and others to oppose the Christian Coalition's challenge, said, "This is not Sodom and Gomorrah.
