A BILL To prohibit discrimination on account of sexual orientation. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 2 tives of the United States of American in Congress assembled, 3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 4 This Act may be cited as the "Civil Rights Act of 5 1993". 6 SEC. 2. PROHIBITION. 7 It shall be unlawful to discriminate against any 8 person-- 9 (1) in employment, education, credit, or hous- 10 ing; 11 (2) in the sale or use of goods or services; 2 1 (3) with respect to any public facility; or 2 (4) in any federally assisted program or 3 activity; 4 on account of that person's sexual orientation, actual or 5 perceived.
