Norton's office first told OutFront magazine, in writing, that Norton paid Cameron $10,125. Then Norton told the AP she didn't know how much she paid Cameron. Then Equality Colorado announced that documents it obtained show that Norton paid Cameron at least $15,649. Now, an extensive article in the New Republic claims that Cameron fabricates most of his "data" on gay men and lesbians. The attorney general has yet to answer: -- How much state money she paid Paul Cameron, -- Why she didn't use him or his affidavit in court -- Why she paid at least $15,000 in expert witness fees to a man who did not testify, who has been expelled from the American Psychological Association for fudging data, and who has been accused of fraud by federal judge Jerry Buchmeyer of Dallas.
