URGENT ACTION ALERT!
                                                                      
CONGRESS LEVELS A DOUBLE-BARRELED
ASSAULT AT GAY & LESBIAN CIVIL RIGHTS!

The U.S. Senate rejected a bill which would have
banned anti-gay discrimination in the workplace --
a goal that 85% of Americans support.  

This came on the heels of the overwhelming passage
of the blatantly discriminatory "Defense of Marriage Act."
According to the bill's sponsor, if the federal
government recognizes gay and lesbian marriages,
Americans will be engulfed by "flames of self-centered
morality licking at the very foundation of our society."

Clinton plans to give in to congressional gay-bashers
and sign this bill.  Let Clinton and Congress know
there is no excuse for scapegoating lesbian and
gay Americans.

WE MUST NOT ALLOW THIS BIGOTRY
TO BECOME LAW WITHOUT
