Date: Sat, 10 Feb 1996 09:11:05 -0800 From: jessea@uclink2.berkeley.edu (Jessea NR Greenman) Subject: CA: correction; youth conference|| Alabama judge CORRECTION to information we sent last week re FILM PREMIERE (corrections **asterisked**) PREMIERE OF "DON'T LOOK THE OTHER WAY" by Joyce Fulton Don't Look the Other Way now with a working title of It's Elementary, or It's So Elementary , the film by Debra Chasnof (Academy Award winner) and Helen Cohen about preventing homophobia in elementary school, will be premiered, it is hoped, **SOMETIME IN JUNE 1996 in THE SF BAY AREA.** Everyone is welcome, especially teachers, school board members, principals, superintendents, etc. The Premier will also be a fundraiser to raise funds for distribution of this magnificent piece. Tickets for viewers will be $25. If you contribute $125 or more you will get to go to a Post Party. If you contribute $500 or $1000 or more, you can also get several tickets, and a listing in the film credits, plus a signed copy of the video. The deadline for the larger contributions is **MARCH 15TH** because of the film credit mechanics. This film is worth every dollar you can give. If you know of any businesses who would give $500 or more (tax deductible) please help out. There will be a special screening for potential funders on Feb. 12th.
