Meyer" According to this morning's Los Angeles Times, AB2810, has passed the Assembly Ways and Means Committee by a 12-7 vote and is on its way to te Assembly floor. AB2810, authored by Richard Katz, would allow unmarried couples who are living together to register their relationships with the secretary of state. Registered partners would be guaranteed certain legal rights enjoyed by married couples, such as the right to visit each other in the hospital and the right to serve as each other's conservator.
