Apparently the Anchorage daily news has a unique arrangement with the 
former Anchorage Times, a paper that the daily news bought a few years 
back, to allow the Times editor to still do editorials (balance of view 
and all that).  Anyway, it seems tha tthe Anchorage Daily news is 
supportive of gay and lesbian issues, alsthough no support on the 
Domestic PArtnership law suit has been forth coming.

It has been suggested that letters opposing the "times" editorial 
in the Anchorage Daily News should be addressed to the Voice of the Times.  
They have their own mailbox, fax number and email address as well as 
their own Publisher and Editors.  In other words they have no connection 
whatsoever with the Anchorage Daily News other than the News being 
required to print whatever the The Anchorage Times provides them to print 
on the Voice of the Times page.
