He had been stabbed several times in the back and neck. At the time of his death, Washington was wearing a skirt, pantyhose, and high heels. The Bergen County Record reports that Washington's wallet, containing cash and identification, was found on the body, so police have ruled out robbery as a motive. Cynthia Washington, the victim's mother, said on Monday that Kareem was a homosexual who occasionally wore women's clothes, but was not a prostitute as investigators have suggested. "He loved people and was very happy-go- lucky," she said. Police say they have no suspects and few leads to pursue. ### Subscriptions.
