While most of our members are heterosexual TVs, we have also have some TS and some gay members. We also have a FTM crossdresser as a member. We have twice monthly meetings which occasionally will feature a guest speaker or presentation. Members may come dressed, change at the venue or come in normal gear, as they wish. We also have occasional parties and other outings to restuarants, plays, shows and films, usually with a cross dressing theme, e.g. Alley Cat Alice, Priscilla and Les Girls. Each year we have a weekend seminar. (This year will be 26th-28th May). PO Box 1891 Ballarat Mail Centre 3354 Elaine Barrie Project The E.B.P. is an organisation for those persons who, because of gender identity problems, experience the trauma of lonliness and isolation. The project provides it's members, a monthly social meeting on a regular basis throughout the year. The aim is to minimise or eliminate the isolation which is often the lot of the transperson. The E.B.P. is also engaged in educating the general public about the true aspects of transvestites and transsexuals. The E.B.P. was establised over 15 years ago. Joining the E.B.P: Almost anyone over the age of 18 can join. It is not exclusive to transvestites or transsexuals, members of professions (e.g. medical, legal, psychological, etc., religious representatives) are especially welcome. FTM transpeople are also welcome. Membership is available to all persons, irrespective of race, colour or creed, political sympathies or leanings, sexual preferences or marital status. One factor takes precedence over all others - that the visitor or member behaves in a civilised manner and bears us no ill will. The E.B.P. has a library of books and non-pornagraphic videos on transvestism and transsexuality, some of which may be available for loan subject to certain conditions.
