Chester Debnam, Jr. wrote: `...no church or group has the authority to approve conduct which is contrary to the word of God.' The United States Constitution guarantees free exercise of religion. Every religious group has the authority to approve, bless, condone, criticize or condemn any behavior, regardless of whether anyone else believes that such behavior is in line with, or contrary to, the word of God.
