Same- gender attraction is very natural. We too fear for that 10-year-old girl you mentioned. We worry about how she will grow up being told that she is not natural, or that God condemns in her the same drives that were given to all of us. We hope you will at the very least understand that there are very serious and committed people who have decided that when we thought we heard God condemning all same-gender sexual relationships, we weren't listening closely enough.
