It is extremely important that the public understand the debate over sexual issues that is occurring in almost all organized religions, and Ms. Goodstein's article was a fine in-depth examination of the questions. We would like to point out, however, that many supporters of ordination for sexual minorities also believe that their position truly reflects Biblical morality.
