Box 3928 Modesto, CA 95352 Dear Editors: In his letter of April 19, Andrew Bottom distinguishes between men, women, and homosexuals. Homosexuals are just as likely to be men and women as the rest of the population. A very small percentage cannot be biologically classified according to one of those two genders, but that is unrelated to sexual orientation. Even if we believe that God created one first couple who were a heterosexual man and woman, this need not preclude the possibility that they were followed by other people with different sexual characteristics. The joyful diversity of God's creation is not some kind of mistake.
