The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 12 congregations and
organizations and 53 clergy from 15 religious traditions. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

Dear Editors:

We were appalled to learn that Wisconsin
Christians United has been distributing leaflets
discussing the beliefs of gay-friendly pastors. This
is an obvious intimidation technique designed to spur a
violent reaction; the explanation that the purpose is
to inform members of the pastors' congregations is
patently ridiculous; how could they not know their own
clergy person's position on such a major issue? The
number of clergy and congregations that support
equality for sexual minorities is growing so rapidly
that this attempt to make it seem abnormal is
ridiculously futile and desperate.

Sincerely,
