The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 10 congregations and religious
organizations and 41 clergy from 14 faiths and denominations. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

Dear Editor:

Leo Hodges' June 29 letter demonstrates a great
deal of confusion about the nature of non-
discrimination laws. Non-discrimination laws apply
equally to everyone. Protection on the basis of sexual
orientation applies equally to heterosexuals,
homosexuals, and bisexuals, just as protection on the
basis of race applies equally to those of European,
African, and Asian descent, and protection on the basis
of religion applies equally to Catholics, Protestants,
Jews, Unitarians, Mormons, Buddhists, Moslems, Pagans
and Atheists.

Sincerely,
Barbara Purdom Christopher Purdom
