Our organization, which is composed of clergy and religious organizations from 12 faiths and denominations, supports the legal recognition of the marriages of same-gender couples. Joining us in this support are the Hawaii Council of Churches, the California Council of Churches, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the Pacific Congress of Quakers.
