The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 10 congregations and religious
organizations and 48 clergy from 14 faiths and denominations. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

We were greatly saddened when we heard that you had
been removed from your conference, for we know how
much being in that community means to you. On behalf
of all our members we thank you for sacrificing so
much for a principle that we all hold dear. We feel
sure that the strength you have already demonstrated
will allow you to continue in your much-needed work,
supported by your faith and by people of all religious
backgrounds who share your vision of justice. God is
with you. You are not alone.

Sincerely,
Barbara Purdom Christopher Purdom
